About the Trainer
Carrie Faber grew up in the mountains of Truckee, CA where she cared for a variety of pets including dogs, birds, cats, chinchillas, rats, horses...you name it! Raising 7 puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind (from ages 11-19) truly sparked her passion to continue her education and refine her skills to one day run her own training business.
As an alumni from Bergin University of Canine Studies, Carrie has graduated with an Associate of Science Degree in Assistance Dog Education as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Cynology (Canine Studies).
She is currently working with Classic Heritage Golden Retrievers in Newcastle, CA specializing in service dog training, as well as board and training puppies from ages 8 weeks to 11 months old. The primary focus is on socialization, crate training, potty training, house manners, car rides, leash walking, grasping the "learning to learn" concept, along with basic obedience.
